Ormes Society member Rashida Lewis has partnered with the entertainment company Kolkom International to provide fans with a Sand Storm mobile video game. The game will be the first of its kind to feature an African superhero created by an African-American artist and writer. The mobile video game is scheduled for release in August of 2007.

Ormes Society member Leisl Adams has completed her first children’s book. The book, titled Monsters Under the Bed!, is available for purchase from Lulu Press. The story revolves around a charming young child named Katy who is frightened by the monsters she believes she spies in her bedroom at night. With the help of her mother, Katy learns to deal with her fears.
