Cartoonist Erin D. Russell is the creator of the popular comic strip Jaded Joy. The strip, which currently appears in the Michigan Daily newspaper, is also available to readers online as well. In 2006, Russell was honored for her work on Jaded Joy when she received the Charles M. Schultz Award in Cartooning. Russell is currently working on a graphic novel geared towards young girls. She hopes Jaded Joy will soon become a nationally syndicated comic strip.
